So doing plyo's is considered 'CrossFit' now? Why don't they throw in some mat drills and just call it off season.
Still scratching my head on the weighted band assisted pull up's. I bet the guy who came up with it is a certified CrossFit trainer with the obligatory bald head, beard, and poor personal hygiene.
I could only stand watching about half of that. Not because of the injuries, but just the flat out stupidity that anyone would think doing most of those "exercises" would result in anything but injury. Most of that stuff would be horrible for your back. No common sense. You're trying to get in shape by doing a bunch of shit that is almost guaranteed to hurt you. Brilliant.

Like the bro-science video said... No form. I deadlifted 495lb without straps at my max and never got hurt in the gym.

Why the hell are they trying to do weighted pull ups, if they have to use a band to assist?? Crossfit is full of some stupid ass people. I like to do crossfit type workouts, but I don't believe in kipping pull ups, and I will not do overhead squats or other retarded moves.
I have friends that are in crossfit and they are the ones that think it is the best and nothing else amounts to it. I am not going to do an overhead squat or any of that bs. There are plenty of safe workouts that can be done that are probably better and less stressful on the body.
did crossfit invent this "kipping" shit? I've never heard of a kipping pullup..
The kipping really defeats the purpose of a good pullup, as the person is really swinging back to the top. Probably came out as result of crossfit and other circuit programs gamerizing the actual exorcise

God they look like a bunch of fucking idiots.
I can't stand the douche bags that drop the weights from over their head to the floor instead of sitting them down. We have one of those at our gym. Super annoying.
