I'll reiterate that the calipers can be grossly inaccurate, and I've never found use for them. I did do the more accurate bod pod a few years ago, just to know where I was at, but for weekly progress I simply monitored the scale, and more importantly the mirror. Even scale weight can be deceiving if you are gaining muscle while trimming fat, as many beginners are able to do. With a "perfect" diet and exercise program you could effectively get down to 10% without losing a pound on the scale.
