I can see how the group aspect would be helpful for some, when I power-lifted I worked with a small group (3 other guys) and the motivation/unspoken competition pushed us all. I am lucky now to have my fiance' to train with, especially when I go putting another plate on something and I see her giving me the look like, "are you sure", then I know I HAVE to get it or look like a punk

    To each his own!

I joined a crossfit gym here in waco 4 weeks ago. At $105 a month, I'm going to have to take a month or two off. But, it's pretty fucking great. There hasn't been a workout where I havnt left absolutely exhausted.

I only have two more workouts, and I'm kinda bummed to have to leave the place for some time, but I can do most of the stuff on my own till I save up the needed cash to go back.
