I remembered reading about a few of ya'll do the FRAN workout/test and thought, no fucken way I could do that without a lot of rest! I had been pretty lazy for the last, oh 15 years as far as working out, until last June when I started doing at home shit with Kettle Worx/kettle bells. Stuck with it for a year, doing the DVD's and live workouts with the instructor via a website and our webcam.
Last week Lyn and I decided to join a Crossfit gym by the house, and after 2 workouts, I'm glad we did!
I knew my endurance really needed work, and I think eventually I'll get some improvement in that area. So far I am liking it, it is different than anything I've done, that's for sure.
Crazy with the different types of workouts, and complete opposite settings I need to do with my insulin pump. First workout I had to lower the insulin by about %40 (rowing, thrusters (I think that's right), and burpees). Today was more of an endurance circuit, with rows and sprints so I had to increase by about %25. 2 workouts and kept my glucose levels in check both times!
