I don't bro if you've picked one up yet but the sears out here in mesquite has them on sale. Saw one for 4 something and the cooler looking one was like 5. Both were under $600
      .....bro....

I'd prefer a bike but with months and months of rain, it's not that feasible. I have a fucked up knee so low impact is a must, and have been looking into picking up one for the house as well. LMK what you end up getting and how it works out for ya.

I bought the one linked up from 4eyed. Used it breifly last night, need to figure out all the settings. So far it is okay, but at my height and weight it is pretty dang wobbly. Feels almost like slalom skiing. lol I'm sure I'll get used to it, and couldn't beat the price considering the really nice ones are easily 4-5 times more expensive.

Have a good pair of running shoes, but I have to do low impact workouts due to my back. Plus I prefer the privacy of my home any way.
My back has gone out twice and I have a blown out knee. Not sure what is going on with your injury but ok.

I moved mine into the garage to be directly on the concrete. I also replaced a few of the bolts with new, longer ones so I could tighten them down (lower frame bolts). It is a used one I bought off CL that had barely been used. It wasn't as stable in the house (on an exercise mat on carpet), but after leveling in on the concrete, it is solid and great with little to no wobble. I am 6' and 191 pounds, and it works fine. I am loving it -- until summer gets here.

Not a bad idea. I am putting wood flooring down in that room this year, might upgrade some of the bolts.

The ones that came with it barely made it to the welded in place hex nuts in some places. It squeaked and wobbled like crazy, even when my wife was on it. I removed one and went to HD. I think I replaced like 4 of them with bolts about an inch longer. It was amazing the instant difference it made. We just bought a nice treadmill, and I'm going to have to do the same with it. 3 of the bolts at the front lower frame were barely long enough for the threads to start. I was impressed that they had some type of epoxy coating on the threads though to lock them in place. One of those snap together mat pieces will work well on hardwood I bet.
