Didn't try dumbbell bench press until earlier this year and was able to workout with 90 and 100 pound weights with ease. Pushups make you a lot stronger than you think if you are doing them correctly.
      You're right. I do them about every day, but when I skip a day, I can do an extra 15-20 with the same effort.

                        I do 500 daily but just started back up recently within the last month working my way up to the Hershel Walker routine!

                                I got my fatass down and busted out a 40 count (4-10s) on Monday and I am sore as fuck today. It was hard as hell to do 10 at a time, especially at the 3rd and 4th set. Hoping to be able to bust out 20-30 at a time within a month. Don't see it happening with only being able to do them every 4-5 days though.

                                I know nothing fights the soreness, but how the hell are you doing a lot of them daily?
