                    You sir have a high metabolism, try to put on size with that diet of yours and you'll see the negative affects of your diet. Running or not I doubt you could get fat. I weighed 153 in the seventh grade, my body can get fat but it can also put on mass and I still have to make sure my protein intake is up to par.

                        I guess these damn things are doing some good. Went to the gym with my brother for the first time since June, back then i was barely able to get 185 up once on bench. This pissed me off cause i was able to get 225 up twice weighing 185 back in 2010 when i was working out with my brother. Of course it had been two years since i stepped foot into a gym back in June lol

                        So, for the past two months i've been doing the push up thing along with my other little workouts with dumbells at the house. Well last night i was expecting the same results of barely being able to get 185 up, i ended up doing that 6 times. So next i thought i'll see if i can get 205 up once, i got that up 4 times. At this point i'm happy as can be cause it means the past two months haven't been a total waste of time. My brother tells me to try and get 225, i'll be damned if i got that up once without any help. That made my night and might actually get me back in the gym after all these lazy months lol


                        So, now all of you can laugh at the 225 mark (i'm looking at you White lightening!!!)

                          hehe doubt i can get 225 up.....been almost 6 years since i was in a gym....push ups i do every now and then....

                          to think in high school i could bench 370 with no issues....squat 480......man i wish i could still do that.....guess its what happens when you cut out the 3-4 mile runs daily, weight training every other day and eating a shit load of food, lol.

                          Beer ruins the best of us, lol

                            I drink beer, don't do push ups and got up 405 the other day. Not too crazy but still moderately respectable. I did 495 when I was 270#s so 405 isn't that bad for 240.

                              Think i'll worry about losing what little gut i have after the food holidays are over. I'm right around 200#'s at the moment

                                Pushups are like every other muscle group, you have to give them a days rest to recover.

                                I dislocated my shoulder years ago in high school and couldn't do 135 without pain (benched 315 before this). Didn't try dumbbell bench press until earlier this year and was able to workout with 90 and 100 pound weights with ease. Pushups make you a lot stronger than you think if you are doing them correctly.
