  • How many supplements do you take per day? Your Schedule?

    I feel kinda weird when I leave in the morning with all the crap I take with me. Is this normal for anyone els or is just me? I work out roughly 5 days a week sometimes more if its a lighy workout.
    Any tips would be nice, thanks.

    My list: Starting at 6:45 a.m
    Muscle Pharm Protien 52g protein drink with coconut water

    9:00
    Spark drink

    11:00
    Zone Bar or Kind bar

    12:30-1:00
    MP Protiene 52G
    Turkey or Fish

    3:30
    Kind Bar and Spark drink

    6:30 work out and one last MP 52G drink.

    Dinner, light healthy something....
    Doing enough racing for 99% of the board!

      Wake up: fish oil, glucosamine

      After dinner: fish oil, glucosamine, multivitamin, 1g vitamin c, green tea extract, melatonin (if I want/need it)

      I eat food too obviously, this is just supplements.

        Welcome to living a healthy lifestyle.
        It's all about preparation and planning ahead.

        Is that all the food you are taking in?
        What is your goal?

        Here is my current schedule…
        5AM: Wake up
        7AM: ½ cup of old fashioned oats mixed with 30 grams of XF cinnamon roll protein and about 20 blueberries
        8AM: Breakfast sandwich made with a cinnamon raisin wheat English muffin, one egg, 6oz of egg whites, and 5 small pieces of ham that I carmelize
        9AM: Breakfast sandwich made with a cinnamon raisin wheat English muffin, one egg, 6oz of egg whites, and 5 small pieces of ham that I carmelize
        10:30 AM: 50 grams of Karbolyn
        11AM-1PM: Workout on lunch break
        2PM: 16oz’s of center cut lean pork tenderloin and steamed carrots with steamed green beans
        3PM: 16oz of liquid egg whites mixed with 80grams of XF chocolate protein and some milled flax seed
        5PM: This is where I usually change it up, but it’s always somewhat healthy, such as last night I cooked 2-8oz trimmed tenderloin(beef, end cut) and 24oz’s of homemade chili(cooked with 4% beef) and some crackers(my cheat meal, lol). I always take all my vitamins,etc at this time, which is just Orange Triad and Fish Oil.
        8PM: 20oz of Chocolate Carmel Liquid Egg Whites
        9PM-10PM: Bed

            I eat food in between. Breakfast, turkey sausage or egg whites.

            Lunch is usually my biggest meal of the day. I don't feel like a big meal after I work out.
            Doing enough racing for 99% of the board!

              What is the best time of the day to take a multivitamin? I currently take mine in the morning after breakfast.

              Current supplements are a multivitamin and fish oil

              MV and fish oil in the morning
              Fish oil after meals

              I've wondered if moving the MV to the evening will process/absorb better

                Eating something will help your body absorb the nutrients in the mv.

                As far as supplements go. None.

                  I always take any sort of supplement/pill with food. I have been meaning to look for some studies to see when vitamin supplements are best absorbed
