When I went to meps in July, I weighed in at 175lbs. @ 72 inches. At the officd yesterday, I weighed in at 187. My recruiter said I need to lose about 5 lbs. to be safe with the weight. I have more muscle mass, at least more than most of the other recruits there which isn't helping. The max weight is 190 for my height. I had a lot going on in life for a few months and gained quite a bit of weight, and went up to about 195 give or take a few. In the past two weeks, I started doing my cardio again(hard) and dieting. Things I have changed?: zero soda's and fruit juices with the exception of orange. No chips or unhealthy items of that nature, and salt is almost all the way cut out. I am currently drinking around a gallon of water per day. For breakfast, all I consume is water and a 35g protein shake with FFM. About an hour later, I go and lift and do my cardio. Throughout the day, all I've been eating is 96% beef, frozen peas, brown rice(2 1/2 c after cardio, another 2c 2hrs. later)
, brocolli, a romaine salad, a bit of mozzarela cheese, and before bed, cottage cheese.
Can somene help me some tips to lose about another 5lbs. Through my cardio, I've dropped 2 mins off of my 2mile time (18:45 to 16:45) and can pace for about 3-4 miles max before having to stop. What can I do with my diet to help with my weight loss? I leave 5 weeks from now btw
Thanks for any and all input!
