  • Title Boxing Club???

I have seen a few of these pop up recently. (There is even one right behind my home in Mansfield)

Checking out their site it looks like they have a bunch of different classes you can take, so it's not necessarily just for "boxing"

Has anyone taken part in these classes? It seems as though the class will be a good cardio workout.

Fall in love with fitness by taking the ultimate mind-body challenge! Our boxing-inspired exercise classes give people of all ages the most empowering workout of their lives. Find a club near you.

I've heard of them opening up locations via email notifications. I only order gear from them, nothing else.

I just called and got pricing info. This is set up just like a gym with regards to memberships. Once you have the memberships you can do as many classes as you want. If you want personal training it's extra of course.

If you want to do a one year membership it's $60 per month with a $99 enrollment free.

If you do month to month it's $80 per month. I don't remember the enrollment fee though.

It's expensive, but to each his own. They do offer a free workout just to see if you like it.

They do have various weights, benches, and treadmills. It's got to be less crowded than the 24 hour fitness I go to.

This is the Mansfield location pricing btw.

Can boxing be taught in a "class" environment? Seems like you'd just be going through the motions with no real guidance on stance and form. I figured one would need 1-on-1 training.

I keep telling myself that I'll take up boxing lessons one day.
