Bench press realistic progress?

    Look up a power lifters bench workout low reps heavy weight in a pyramid type of sets

    Example. I usually hit 10, 10, 8, 8, 3-5, 2. Back down to 8-10 reps 7-8 sets in one bench workout.....make sur you decline press flat bench. Include dumbbell work on none chest workouts. I hit chest twice week no more....make sure you wear proper training gear. Wrist wraps,belt, bench shirt if your training for competition lifting.

    Make sure you include long pause at the bottom of chest to really exhaust your chest.

      I understand that people with small hands have to squeeze them down a little at first but I still think it's cheating. The Captains of Crush website says in order to get certified you have to start with the ends far enough apart so that a credit cards short side can fit between the ends.
      Whats weird is Iv never trained my forearms or grip strength. I bought the #1's so Id have something to do while running emissions tests at work and when they came in I closed them and thought that was a little too easy. I bought the 2's and closed them 4-5 times and thought that was a easier than I thought. I need to try the 2.5's.
      Hell Im not bragging. I have good grip strength but my bench sucks balls.
      I have the 2.5 but I have to set it in my hand, I have naturally clammy hands and grabbing from a neutral grip makes it slip.

        my hand is to small for them i guess. its WORK just to get my hand around it and in a position to clamp down on it..

        I need to check which ones i have.. i thought the 1 and 2 were the BIG ones.. but i had it turned around..

            Im not expecting huge gains or anything. Im just trying to gauge my progress to see if Im on track with realistic gains. I have no reason to get on gear.
