yup. I've just recently started benching, but I can notice a huge difference in how much I can lift just by how I ate that day.
I'm 5'11" and 142 lbs, so I've got some work to do.

Come 1st of the year, Im swelling the fuck up! Def miss having some guns & a chest. I have man titties now from not working out the past year. Thats the only thing that sucks about getting big. If you dont stay on top of it. It turns to FAT

you should be alright...I saw someone just last week on the leg press doing that. He had both sides filled with 45 lb plates too.

44 here and still doing 275 for 5 reps reverse grip bench for triceps.

The gym only goes to 120lb dumbbells, so that's what I use for incline bench.

The problem is that they do feel heavier than they used to, and recovery isn't as quick as it used to be.

I'm actually weaning myself off the heavy stuff, there is no need at my age, except to feed the ego and keep up with the young kids.

    I'll try that. Thanks

I keep my form as clean as I can. I've always been a puss upper body, but I can throw 185 up for 10 which is a far cry from barely being able to lift just the bar 7 months ago.....lol. On the chest press machine I can push 260 for 8....it's a mental thing of not wanting to have my arms buckle and have the weight fall where everyone points and laughs. The last month I've been doing the incline and decline with dumbells to get my arms more stable and it's slowly coming around. Triceps are coming around finally
