Do you work out at the 24 off of Rufe Snow? There was one of each of those there to a tee.

People that use a bench to put their phone/water bottle/towel/keys on and aren't actually using the bench. People that put their shit in a locker and don't put a lock on the locker. As a gym employee, I have to deal with their complaints about people stealing their shit. As a fellow gym user, I'd rather not have to open a dozen lockers before finding one that doesn't have shit in it.

I work at Raytheon so I just got to Pathways here at work. It's small but never crowded.

People who don't rack their weights, except for the "courtesy plate". I really don't have a problem with one 45 on a side.

People who put weights where they don't go. For Christ's sake, the rack is labeled for each weight type. Don't put the 25s where the 10s go, because you can't get the weight that goes below it on.

Or don't put multiple sized weights on the same peg. I don't want to have to take off a 10, 5 and a 35 to get to the quarter that is in the right place.

And for God's sake, put the dumbbells where they go! Is it really that fricking hard???

This x 1 million. At the LA that Sarah and I work out at anything below 40 is typically going to be somewhere other then the rack (I always joke that the only weights that ever are where they are supposed to be are the 110+ since none of the weaklings can lift them). Then people will just put 50's where the 90's go because they are too lazy to walk them back down the rack. Drives me nuts. Sarah can never find the weights she wants, and I always have to set down the heavier weights to move whatever is in their spot back where they are supposed to be.

I hate hunting for warm up weights (30's or so) because some jackass left them over in the floor exercise area or at some random machine.

Don't go to the 24 on Arbrook in Arlington in the evening. The safest place to walk is on the dumbbell rack because it's clean and EVERYTHING is on the damn floor. I felt like I was back in Guantanamo Bay walking the minefield.

I like the guys who throw down their dumbbells on like every set. I get it, if you hit temp. failure and need to ditch out of the set, hopefully you are aware of your surroundings and can ditch the weights in a reasonably controlled fashion. I will do sets all the way up to 125lb (the max our gym goes in dumbbells) and still don't ditch the weights. Hell, I will usually get up and walk them back to the rack having never let them down. Then there is Billy Badass over there half-reppin 70's throwing them 4 feet in each direction with no concern for anyones safety.

People leaving trash in the lockers. The ones who walk right in front of you butt ass naked while you're sitting on the bench tying your shoes. Shaving their heads at the sinks. Drying off in the locker area and not the shower area. The rest have been said.

I haven't been in a globogym in a while but there was always once a week that someone would leave a big ol shit in the toilet. Is it really that hard to step on the handle?

Or people putting their stuff in the lockers and don't put a lock on it. Then u open a half dozen lockers to find an empty one.

Or not putting a lock on it and being shocked when their phone/wallet is stolen.

When doing shoulders or inclines I bring the weights down to my knees and drop them on the floor while standing up, but I hate it when someone drops them from full extension, especially because it breaks the weights.

People that ask me my max on whatever workout I'm doing. Actually, people that try to converse with me in general when I work out.
