  • Neck injury diagnosis

Not sure what happened but I popped my neck and I have this crazy as pain from the base of my neck on the left side that runs all the way down my left arm. I move my head one way and its like I nailed my funny bone. I've had it for nearly a week and it sucks. Tried ice packs, capsaicin cream, and aspirin and nothing helps. Shit sucks!

Anyone else have a similar injury and how did you remedy it?

Sounds like a pinched nerve. I'd damn sure have it looked at.

Definitely sounds like a pinched nerve. Why not PM davbracas or whatever the docs username is?

I just used a massager with heat and instantly felt relief. I felt normal and pain-free but just for a few minutes. Looks like I'll shoot Dave a pm in a bit.

you probably need to have an mri to see whats going on.. i was experiencing the same pain but waking up in the middle of the night screaming.. ended up having a herniated disc and had to get injections and a nerve block

Damn, sorry for your troubles! I went to a chiropractor and he while the neck pain is pretty much gone, the pain traveled down a bit to my shoulder. I'm hoping that after a few more sessions this can be worked out from the chiropractor and maybe a few deep tissue massages.

no worries.. depending on what area you are in.. if you dont like your chiropractor i know a great one that isnt a salesman/scammer.. If it gets to where you cant take it... "texas back institute" is where its at

Finally just about back to normal. I suppose the chiropractor really worked out for me.
