It's a relatively minor procedure and not uncommon. You will be back in the gym inside of a month...assuming that it's a small bone spur and he doesn't have to do a lot of dissection.

Man that is great news to hear!
I think it all started when I was a kid in baseball(I was a pitcher), and I'm right handed.
Thank you for all your help.

Do you have any idea how big the scar will be?
Since at least three things will be done, is this surgery typically done arthroscopic?

Depends on the skill level of the surgeon. Skilled surgeons minimize incisions.

Go to wheelessonline.com and read up on bursectomy. Good luck.

Well, I had the surgery yesterday evening(removed my bursa sac, shaved down a bone spur on my Olecranon, and removed calcium deposits on my tricep tendon).
The Dr. said that my elbow looked pretty bad inside and it really needed cleaning up.
It was pretty much painless and I am still feeling fine.
The surgery was not done arthroscopic because the bone spur was not inside the joint.
So today's my bday and I'm still in a sleeve, but ready to get back in the gym asap!

Good to hear all went well. Hope recovery comes quik I can understand what you felt somewhat. I've got tennis elbow and these dam wraps don't help much might try the sleeve.

Ouch, I was experiencing a great deal of pain in my elbows, I was told to try this cissus q. I have been taking it for 6 months now, and my joint pain is completely gone. Its just a thought for the future, once you get past this.
