  • MTB'ers where's your favorite trails.

Now that I don't work weekends...or at all at the moment for that matter I want to branch out and try some different trails. All I've really ridden is River Legacy, North Shore, Horse Shoe, and part of Samson Park. Anything incredibly advanced is pretty much beyond me at the moment but I'm down for anything that's challenging.

The trails all have a personality. I really like rcp, oak cliff, northshore and erwin. I'm riding 4-5 times a week, youre welcome to join any time.

I live about 4 miles from Rcp and haven't made it out since I bought my 29er two months ago I need to hit up something technical. There are some private trails off of Miller/George Bush (ten acres-ish) I ride almost every evening on the way to the gym.

I really like rhythm/pump style tracks. Anybody here ride MTB with a strong bmx background? If so what tracks do you like?

All I can say is I'm blessed to be in El Paso. Some of the best riding in the country is here. Good luck y'all!

Big Cedar is about as rowdy as trails get around here. If you're out of shape, it will hurt.

                    +1

Absolutely worth the trip. You master Big Cedar and all other trails D/FW will bore you.

I try to get to Big Cedar or Tyler at least 4-5 times a month.

                      Another vote for Rowlett Creek.

Ceder Hill by Joe Pool Lake is a good one. It's been a few years though.

                            Hutto? LOL

Big Cedar is a nice place with some good sized downhills jumps if you're brave (I'm not)

I have been riding North Shore a bit here lately. I really enjoy it, most parts are not real technical and I like that.
