Johnny where you wearing blue last night? I saw 2 guys that fit your profile wearing vibrams and knew one of them had to be you but wasn't sure enough to come say hey.

I had a blue cap on backwards, the black shirt from the race, charcoal shorts and my black Vibrams on. I had the blinky lights on my forearms and some Brooks reflectors on my ankles. My wife and I were next to the guy in blue before the race started, but then we moved to the back hoping it would clear out some by the time we hit the start...it didn't! LOL. We did run into Chris and his wife back there, though...

How'd you do, RD? You run the 5 or the 10?

Ok the other guy I saw was wearing black an grey...I imagine that was you.

I did bad time wise...either it was the amount of people, or having been swimming and in the heat all day.

Finish wise, I did decent. 125th out of the 2,376 that ran. I think I was tied for 6th in my age group.

That's not too bad at all. It was difficult with all those people. If I was betting I would bet I ran at least 2 minutes faster then I did - but with people stopping and all that - it widdles away at your time.

never been in a big race like that, bet thats pretty aggravating to hit a big crowd like that. A night run does sound pretty fun though.
anyone tried the reebok flex or the adidas climacool? Looking at the reebok today seemed pretty impressive in its design, I just never liked wearing reeboks

My Ex and her BF just got some of the Flex shoes. She likes them, but I don't know that either of them are runners...well...I know she's not. I've seen a lot of those wavey sole shoes too...not sure the brand.

I ran 5 miles in my bare feet this morning...I'm done with shoes for running, except when it's really cold out...even then, I think I'll barefoot it on a treadmill if it's that cold.
