Check out Lockoutforums.com and read up. BCAA's and quick carbs keeps you running GE

Also, for any of you just drinking water during an intensive workout and trying to make progress, you're really just doing yourself a disservice.

You better have a massive amount of data and a cohesive argument to back up that non sense. Nothin wrong with drinking water

I only ever drink water. When I was first starting out with working out (all I did was cycling) I would fill my pack with gatorade. But that shit got expensive real quick. Now I just hydrate significantly all day, drink a little during workouts, and then rehydrate after I'm done.

While Im not against supplements.... I think some people rely on them way to heavily. I think it becomes more of a mental game. "I have my gogo juice and now I can work out harder".

Im sticking with water in the gym, protein powder for after the gym and meal fill ins.

First off, my posts are in response to GE's "workout", which I immediately thought meant "resistance training" eg. lifting heavy weights. Anything else is up for debate because I haven't read up on it as much.

Stangin4lyfe & Ruffdaddy Go catch an issue of Muscle Mag, they include a number of scientific references in each of their articles about resistance training & nutrition, I'm not wasting my own time looking the stuff up that I've previously read for you. Don't believe me? I don't give a shit

8mpg, good job on staying natural, let me know when you hit a plateau that you can't break through if you're actually trying to progress. And those people that rely on supplements heavily are two types... A) the people that know what they are putting in their body and pushing themselves not because of the product SAYS it works, but because it does work B) people that don't know WTF they are doing to themselves and let the mind games play their placebo effect

Not saying I'm an expert on this stuff, but many of you seem to have simply not read common nutrition tactics for resistance training.

Oh and for the record in the last year I have not taken ANY supplements. I lost the 90lbs naturally and that's the way I want to keep it. I agree that some people rely too damn heavy on those supplements. (I do however take a daily vitamin for "active" men if you want to consider that a supplement)

Crack the sky...you're a fucking idiot. Muscle mag is there to advertise, not promote water. It's not our fault you can't handle lifting naturally.

I am seeing this more and more from lockout. While I used to like why greg was doing, and still appreciate alot of it, it's turning into a dbag hub. Lots of cheaters can't handle going without their prohormones and steroids. Not bagging on it...just calling it what it is. It's a short cut or means of achieving something you otherwise couldn't.
