Chrome Paint? BAD ASS!

Had a call today from a company using a spray chrome paint... Thought it was a bunch of bullshit, probably looks like crap. So I went to the manufacturers site and came across this video, and I must say... I'm pretty impressed!

Not this stuff... you put a base coat on, and then apply their stuff, and within minutes, bam. Of course im not talking about joe blow in his garage with no experience. But someone who is already painting cars... this is just another "color" so to speak.

I could be wrong but it looks like they just painted a chromed hood white and washed the paint off to show the chrome.....?

No, they actually paint it on. I watched the whole episode of Inside West Coast Customs when they did the R8 and that started off as being a red R8. It's a legit process, just takes a lot to master it.
