Ferrari in Southlake

360's are not nearly as rare as some other cars. Just driving to work down the tollway to downtown Dallas I see the same guyin an aston martin vantage every day. I also see several maseratis, ferraris, lamborghinis, and just about any other "exotic" car out there. Shit, Ford GT's are more rare in Dallas than ferraris or lamborghinis, not to mention I've NEVER seen a lotus in Dallas, and I'm here all the time.

I used to see a yellow Lotus Elise all the time in Addison/Farmers Branch (Spring Valley @ Midway) and a red one (I think it was red) every morning on 75 when I switched jobs. There is a guy in my building (suspect he is one of the dentists) that has an Aston Martin DB7 Vantage that he has driven every day the last couple of weeks.

While some of these cars may still be "rare", I see them all the time, even if it is the same car. I'm kind of immune to them now. I do still recognize the value of them and give them a little more room on the road, though.

IIRC he has a Lotus Exige...id just give him props for having the pocketbook to daily drive an English car. Thats a gutsier proposition than daily driving anything Italian.

Last week saw 3 crusing together; Audi R8 Vert, LP640 Roadster, F430 Spider.

Last one that really impressed me (1st one I have seen) was a McLarren SLR. I know they are old news, but I had never seen one in person.

Last time I went out for a real ride on the bike, I got passed up by a Ferrari 250 California (If it was a replica..it was a very well done replica that sounded like it had an old Ferrari V12 in it). That impressed me enough to give the guy a thumbs up. Ive also been Impressed by the local Maserati MC12 (talking to the guys at the dealership..it went for 1.6mil), Murcielago 670sv, and both of the Ferrari GTOs (1980s vintage) running around island. While I wouldnt mind a 360, they are somewhere midrange on the impression level.

You guys need to go to Cars and Coffee at Classic BMW early am first Sat of each month. You see so many exotics up there, you actually get bored when another F-car or Lambo pulls in.
