    After 42 Years The Legend is Back……and only from SLP!

    The year was 1969, and the muscle car wars were in full swing. Each one of the big three
    had developed their own version of the ultimate high-performance big-block engine.
    Then Chevrolet unleashed the ZL1®, the most powerful 427- cubic inch engine ever released
    by General Motors. Based on an exotic aluminum block, the ZL1® offered only the best
    components from the L88 engine including a high-compression piston, high-flow aluminum
    heads and intake, and a bulletproof bottom end. In all, only 69 Camaros and 2 Corvettes were
    ever produced with the ZL1® making it one of the rarest and most desirable big-blocks ever made.
    Now, in the tradition of that legendary ZL1® Camaro of yesteryear, SLP presents the 2011 ZL® Camaro.
    Only 69 will be built for 2011; all with a 750HP Supercharged 427ci powerplant; and they’ll go fast! Literally.

    Old news. They've been making them and have been on eBay for awhile. This is just a ZL1 package they've been making since last year. Chevy makes the actual 2012 ZL1 Camaro.

      Just to clear everything up for everyone, this car is a tuner package just like lingenfelter, hennessey, etc. Comes in different stages, and is in no way made by gm, except for the car. They've been making these since last year, and there's been posts on this site about it. The Chevy car coming out is still called the ZL1 and does have 550hp, and is a 2012 model. They even put out a press release saying slp could use the ZL1 nameplate through 2011.

            LS9 = ZR1

            LSA = CTS-V

            Basically the LS9 has better flowing heads, more efficient supercharger, and one more efficient intercooler.

              Misuse of the ZL1 name IMO. At least call it ZL2 or something.

                  Actually if i am not mistaken previous posters are correct.. this is NOT the Chevy ZL1... that WILL have the LSA motor and be around 50-60k.

                  basically a CTS-V coupe with a camaro body.

                    Like said above, this is NOT the new camaro. Just a 3rd party car.

                      Even referring to the new GM ZL1, IMO they shouldnt use that name. It was used in the 60's.
