The hell you say, old people dont exagerate!!!! I kinda doubt any city would go on a rampage like that and waste that kind of money over one guy complaining. He is probably just the most vocal. If the city was smart they would find a local lot and put in a court thats a decent distance away from anyones house. Anyone on here would be pitching a fit if 20-30 kids were out there playing hoops and screaming and cussing at each other. I am not saying this is the case but I would have like to have seen what was going on a daily basis to more argue the point.

Lived out in the country on a bunch of land all my life. I know all the bullshit that comes with the city too. I have no desire to, and never will live in town. There is only one advantage to living in town. One single advantage, to go with your 54 disadvantages. And to put up against your 20 advantages of living out in the boonies.

The not so funny thing is my HOA won't let you mount a basketball goal "permanently". You are allowed to have those stupid roll around goals, I assume with the reason being people are suppose to roll them into their garage or something when they are done playing. Well guess what, all I see are this ugly ass basketball goals with the huge sand base left out all over the neighborhood because nobody ever puts them up. I would MUCH rather see them cemented into the ground or mounted above a garage, I think that'd look way better.
