No, the last car was a design exercise by some Italian design firm. (Giugiaro)

          It came out in '06.

This is what Jay Mays said on the matter. Keep in mind that this was at the 2010 Paris Auto show just after the 2011 'stang was released.

Mustang comments start a 2:40 then again at 3:40.

His early comments are that the 2014 Mustang will not follow the current Kinetic design language because the Mustang is an icon. His later comments hint that the Mustang will move away from the current retro design to show that the Mustang has another 50 years of life in it.

I speculate that we won't start seeing images of the next gen Mustang until 2012 with it showing up at the 2012 LA AutoShow. There seems to be a lot of information that the next Mustang will have IRS. Ford also made comments that they want the Mustang to see a lot more international sales. IMO that tends to support the IRS rumors. I also think that pushes the Mustang to be significantly smaller than the current car to reduce weight and increase mileage.

Actually, I suppose one working eye would do it too. Suffice it to say that they look quite different.

2014 is probably the soonest we should expect a redesign.

Sorry if I come across as unnecessarily harsh. I just resent being drawn off sides by a dummy question that a little common sense could answer.
While I understand you're just some stupid fuck who's been coddled into thinking he's smart by the rest of these jackoffs, I still somehow feel the need to point out the obvious to you since you very clearly have zero powers of logical deduction. I meant 2014, even if I didn't realize that was the exact year when they would likely introduce the new "bodystyle". You dildo.

With some tweaks, I think the italian concept could be a good base.

Anyone got any credible pics? Google has all manner of bullshit but I doubt any of it is worth anything.
It will look the same as the 2011 and 2010. The current body style is only 3 years old (with the 2012). So yeah, your math sucks.

But he's smarter than all of us. We're the idiots for not knowing he meant 2014..

If you meant it, you would have said it. 3 ≠ 5

Also, I don't think you know what "coddled" means.

From now on we will go by what you meant not what you say.

so they are going from the "late 60's early 70's" retro styling and then going back towards a mustang II sizing? here we go again.....

What would you think of Mustang II sizing with the same 412HP 5 liter?
