That's right, yours have all been 12V. More versatile from what I've been told.

Thanks yall. It has the black/chrome wheels on it now and those small tires are 35's lol.

Vps are good long as you keep fuel to them. I choose them because its the durability of the 12v but makes more performance easily. Like comparing a 2v car to a 4v car in mods ect. Also for example a p pumped 24v.

I'm well aware of what a p-pumped 24v is. the VP will never be as reliable as a P7100... or even a CP3. no matter what fuel system you have in front of it.

A lot of people like the VP trucks. I'm not one of them. If I wanted that body style, I'd just buy a 98 12v. And I have... four times!

                            good looking truck though

Thanks. I like 12v also but wouldn't own a common rail unless I picked it up right off the line and it was trailered directly to my shop to get a fuel system. Idk how may guys bout passed out when I gave their est at the stealership after running bad fuel.

we get good fuel down here... I was scared of them too for a long time, but I've never had any fuel system problems with any of mine. I've had a few 03's in the 175-200k range. Current 03 is at ~220k. I just use Fleetguard filters. Stock fuel system has never let me down.

My 06 had 150k on it when I sold it, current owner is still driving it daily.

I saw an early 04 come into my buddy's shop with 560k on it. stock automatic had finally shit the bed. Truck was all stock otherwise. Just fluids and filters w/ fleetguard filters.

If you live in an area with crap fuel or you never inspect the fuel coming out of the nozzle before you feed it to the truck, a high dollar fuel system is good insurance.
