Might want to make those carb feed lines just a hair longer.
Good looking car!
Why? (seriously asking if there is a reason, they seem fine to me?) They're not tight/short, they are actually turned up at the regulator in an attempt to keep them off of the valve cover.

Sweet looking ride no doubt tho.. what class are youbsuppose to run it in that only let's you hit it with a 175 shot?
It was the Evil Street class they were running at the TXDRL at HMP in Houston. The class was cancelled, but they may be picking it up in Evadale. If not I'll just have fun with it.

The class I was planning to run called for a 175 shot for BB cars.

Looks to me like if the fender and block move opposite each other the front line might get pulled apart. Seems a little tight from the pics.
Why not mount the reg. on the intake on a bracket and shorten them up a little, would take the fender/block flex out of the equation.
Because it was already there and the -10 braided line from the tank ties to the back of the regulator through the inner fender. The car had a BBC in it before I got it and ran 8.30's-8.40's.
I know chassis's flex, but how much could it possibly move? It's a 25.5 chassis with bars through the firewall to the strut towers, and from the strut towers to the front, and the drivetrain uses a motor plate, mid plate, and tranny crossmember?

It's your car and you know how much flex is in the line. I'm just saying that from the pics the front line looks a little tight. I'm sure there won't be a shit ton of flex, but a little might be too much.

The pic makes it look a lot tighter than it really is.
