Ft Worth Zoo pics

Tried out the D5000 with a Sigma 70-200 f2.8.... I have learned just because you can shoot 2.8 doesnt mean its the right aperture for every shot. Out of 400 pics or so...these are the few that I liked.

F4-f5.6 seems to be the key when shooting wildlife.

Cool pics. Went last weekend. Think i saw pedogorilla. One of the males in the primate area was just posted up next to one of the viewing windows constantly rubbing his junk. I swear like 3 times when a kid came by he'd fucking smile. Wish we could have spent more time there. It was the last weekend of spring break so we were moving kinda quick. Oh yeah, did you see the chimps playing on that wooden handle tree thing. They were tripping me out, be really cool if you had video of it.
