your swap looks good I like it

        truck accessories and water pump

Thanks, I will probably just go with the f-body waterpump when that time comes because I had to tweak the HELL out of the neck to use the ls6 intake and the Mustang throttle cable (which connects onto the cruise control nub). I REALLY want to build a turbo for this now! I have too many other responsibilities at the moment, so a healthy cam and spray will probably be more likey.

Thanks for the input, I am it doesn't help that in every video it has zero traction (mind you it is roasting 28x11.50 et streets).

I cut the cruise control nub off of my throttle bracket and took a ball peen hammer to the water neck just enough to have it clear

Ya, but the nub on the throttle body is what the stock 5.0 throttle cable hooks up to so it has to stay

i stuck a pipe into the neck, twisted it, then beat on it a bit with a ball peen hammer as well. it clears fine now

Oh ya that has to stay then haha. I used a lokar cable and I'm not running cruise control (yet) so I didn't need it.

I totally disagree with the paint comment. I think it looks really good.

I appreciate it. I got the car already painted this way, not in a million years would I have ever picked orange, but the quality of the paint work is very good, and who ever did the body work did an excellent job (car is very straight). With that said, wait until you see it up close to judge, most of my buddies who only saw it online didn't like it, then when they got near it they really liked it. I understand it won't please everyone, but I've got other plans before a respray.

Just FYI, the cowl in the pictures (that is painted black) is prepped and should be painted silver asap.

i do have a small coolant leak (only leaks when it is cooling down) from the thermostat (bought a replacement this weekend), and leaks from the output seal (not surprising since the tranny sat with a yoke in it for about 5 years before i put it in here), and around the pan (so I bought a new seal and filter/gasket).

Spent the weekend in the yard, building a garden for the lady, planting stuff, mowing, blah blah, I am exhausted. Oh, and my next door neighbor hates me
I might have to buy an aeroquip fitting for my car. That new fitting is starting to leak just a tad bit. It's pissing me off. Those -16 fittings aren't cheap to be leaking like it is. BTW the car looks good sounds nice too.

not a drip so far from the aeroquip, just call and ask to speak with a manager. if you stay calm and explain the situation i am 99% sure they will offer you a similar deal. take a video and post on youtube and send them a link (he said this was a big help because they can forward the link to their QA guys).

Its always gay when someone puts a chevy motor in a ford or vice versa. Waste of money.
