Got a new camera...trying to learn this whole SLR thing. Damn it takes a lot of light for a good pic. Here are a couple that I took.The last one needs more work...they are all shot in raw on a Nikon D5000

I wouldn't worry that much about it, you shouldn't notice much grain at a higher ISO, since it's a newer camera, that mostly only happens on older cameras like mine, lol. Buy a 50mm 1.8, they're usually like 100 bucks, and take great pictures.

With a D5000 you can definitely bump that ISO up man. Doesnt even look that dark in your pictures honestly. In fact Id max the ISO out and drop it down till youre comfortable with it just so you can feel out the range. Ive been messing with my ISO a lot latley, gotta love technology
