412hp pushing 3600lbs or 412hp pushing 3000lbs? It's an obvious swap. New 5.0 in an old 5.0. Plus, as a shop, they're just flexing their fab muscle. "Look what we can do!"

Looks sweet, I just don't understnad why they felt the need to use headers when the factory bricks flow pretty damn well. At least well enough not to have to do that nightmare custom header.

That being said, I really like the way this motor looks in that engine bay. I would refuse to work on it but it looks sweet! LS motors in foxes look great too though.

ehhh looks like they slapped it in there in a weekend. Both of those air intake tubes look like a 3-year old designed them and they look like shit. I would also lose the engine cover. Neat motor, but still too top heavy/wide to fit in many smaller chassis very well.

Why did they offset the motor to the passenger side so much?

I'm also not quite sure if I am seeing things or not, but the motor doesn't look level. It almost seems to be a little lower on the driver side.

Looks like there's plenty of room for headers, as long as you don't make them out of 2.5" pipe. Good Lord.

The install doesn't look as clean as I would expect, but I think I'll pass judgement on the overall viability of the 5.0/Fox swap until I see a few more - especially from some top shops. I think it could be done better and it seems like an obvious match.

I doubt its that its that hard to install the new Coyote Motors in a fox

I had stock MAC 03-04 Cobra longtubes in my mod 4.6 fox before the turbos went on and they fit perfect

I chose to put a mod motor in the fox because I thought it would be kool and different, plus I was up for the challenge

LSX foxes are kool but I wouldnt do it (replace a push rod with another pushrod)
I would rather build a LSX RX7, S2000 or so on

                            But
                            1967 Mustang Fastback - 5.0 32V Stroked Teksid - Supercar GT heads - MARCELLA Billet intake -
                            - Twin Precision 6766 Turbo set up - BigStuff3 - AMS1000 - Built GM 4l80e - Art Morrison Chassis
                            - Sparco Milano Leather Seats- Forged 18" wheels - 29" M/T tires + A/C & heat!

                              You make my point exactly

                              But
LOL your going to compare a LSX to a SBF? Sure they are similar but the efficiency of a LSX kills the SBF and even mod motors. They have their quirks, like oiling, but so does any motor. Just admit you think it should be illegal to put a chevy motor in a Ford, that would make more sense.

That might be the dumbest shit I've ever heard of.

You wouldn't replace "a push rod with another pushrod" but you'd replace a rotary or a DOHC with a pushrod engine?

The LS1 is so far superior to a mod motor it's not even funny. Yes I understand what can be done with a mod motor when you throw away everything stamped FoMoCo, but I'm talking about a straightforward street engine. They generally lag about 100hp behind... I'm sure you know...
