You must be sarcastic, that is one of the few websites on the net that has more assholes than this site.

So I don't go head long into a motor that acts as an extension of your genitals and end up 10k in the hole with horrible shoddy jeep.

By going the 4cyl route, I can experience all the joys and pains of actually restoring a Jeep. Just because it lacks 500hp does not mean its any less of a jeep. I'm simply amazed by all the negative comments and remarks about a simple resto thread.

Needless to say its not a mustang but shit, its a car, with a sub-culture that rivals the mustang crowd. If its not your cup of tea, then don't chime in with ignorant and ill informed comments about this thread. If you don't like the choice if MY jeep, then GTFO
Come on guy, you posted it on a PUBLIC message board. Surely you can understand the fact that anyone is welcome to post on your "resto" thread. You also shouldn't be "simply amazed" at the fact that not everyone likes what you like. It's just the way of the world, dude.

It's not my cup of tea, and I can't really understand why in the hell anyone would want to waste a bunch of time and money on a '90s Jeep with a 4 cylinder in it, but the old saying "there's an ass for every seat", comes to mind here. With that said, good luck with it.

True, you've got a point, but I'm not going to be bashed over it. fine line with voicing your displeasure with my taste in vehicles and insulting my intelligence.

But yes, as you so eloquently put it "there's an ass for every seat". That's my point, I enjoy it, and besides, content is always good, better than a stale board.

That's just the thing, you don't have a choice whether you want to be bashed or not when you post something on a public board. You just have to "bend over and take it like a man" and "roll with the punches".

I'd hate to have drove the "ranch only" 200k miles that are on there.

Had a work truck Jeep Commache with the 4.0L. Loved that motor. Torquey as hell. Had over 250k on the clock and still could catch some tire in third.

Only part I hated leaving that job was leaving that truck.
