    Yea it'll be nice..
Do you just not like the look of these square eyed wranglers? Thats understandable, i can see that. But, cars come in many shapes and forms, and a true car guy knows when he has a connection with an automobile.

Ill pay you a dollar if you can find any rust on that body.

Turns out it was actually disintegrating from the inside out, and the brand new radiator was full of rust chips and flakes.
Did you buy this from half price auto repair?

Waste of money. For the money you're going to spend "restoring" it, you probably could have bought 3 or 4 drivers from the same year with that shitty 4 cylinder in it.

Nobody is bashing you for wanting to restore something, they're just bashing your waste of time and money on the not very good choice of vehicle. There's not much desirable or collectible about a 1991 Jeep Wrangler 2.5.

If you paid more than $100 on it, you got screwed.

I disagree! Most jeeps even in shitty condition go for $3500 running & in decent condition $5000 for these years and depending on motor. I have seen the straight 6cycl go for as high as $6000!

If you paid $1000 to $1500 at tops! Then you did good for yourself. Motors for these things are cheap & so are parts & they are easy as fuck to work on!

Exactly my point Jim, this way I can learn about the motor replacement process on a Jeep.

So I don't go head long into a motor that acts as an extension of your genitals and end up 10k in the hole with horrible shoddy jeep.

By going the 4cyl route, I can experience all the joys and pains of actually restoring a Jeep. Just because it lacks 500hp does not mean its any less of a jeep. I'm simply amazed by all the negative comments and remarks about a simple resto thread.

Needless to say its not a mustang but shit, its a car, with a sub-culture that rivals the mustang crowd. If its not your cup of tea, then don't chime in with ignorant and ill informed comments about this thread. If you don't like the choice if MY jeep, then GTFO
