DALLAS- A DART rail train on a southbound green line collided with a car on Tuesday around 1 p.m.

The accident happened when DART police said a woman drove her car around the train cross arms.

The woman in the car was injured and had to be cut out of her car.

There were approximately 100 people on the train. Several complained of minor injuries.

The accident did halt service between Farmers Branch and the Carrollton Stations. Passengers on other green line trains were informed about the accident and told they would be placed on shuttle buses to reach their destinations.

I keep playing this scenario out in my head. You know, if it were my wife in that car. All I can think of, is she'd have been better off if the train had killed her.
