How to Install Windshield Wiper Brakes

Funny thing is that the 57 cadillac I put back together has something similar to this. Has a center disc and a grooved part on the wiper arm that goes over it. It's nothing more than a guide, but does generate some braking force.

If anything I wish my wipers had a turbocharger on them, not brakes.
