  • Did you see him jump from the second table top jump and land on the top of the third table top last night after his heat race? Crazy....

    • Yeah. Lol I have never seen an rc car hit that hard. He almost made it though.

      • He will probably make it before the weekend is over....lol He got the front wheels on the flat, but cased it....a little hard..

I will be by there at some point tomorrow. May take my stuff and go over to Indy for some practice tomorrow afternoon/evening while I am over on that side of the metroplex.

          • I have an ofna hyper 7 nitro rc 1/8 with pillowball suspension and it has the .25 motor in it. The other ofna hyper 7 is brushless with a decent sized motor. I converted it with an emaxx plate and it is WAY quicker than the nitro. It has the old shool style suspension on it.

                  • I'm not sure if anyone has a Redcat RC car. The cars are inexpensive but apparently durable - according to their videos.

                        ^this

Used to be big into planes and boats, made a dozen or so from scratch. Really fun, but too much maintenance... good hobby for the retired.

                        • Recently got into electric, which is so much easier. Started with a counter rotating blade Eflight micro helicopter and graduated to the Blade MSR a couple months ago... outstanding rig. Used to take it out of my backpack between classes at A&M and fly it around some of the larger lecture halls.
