Got an old first gen RC10GT geared out 4.13 final drive, with an OS .18 on 50% nitro. i blow the cobs off of every now and then. Big Town parking lot or simular is the only place I can get it up on the pipe. got to trim the steering out just to control it at speed. I would guess 80mph+ pretty easy, the real problem is getting the fucker slowed down.

Like a go cart going 80 2wd & no front brakes. I think It's around maybe 3hp give or take on the 50%

It is great! Probably one of, if not the most durable 1/8th buggy out today. The A arms are solid and the chassis is thicker than most other models. I have been to 8 race events so far and have yet to break anything on the car. If you work with the set-up it can be competitive. They ship with 100k weight diff oil in the center diff. Change that to 5k and it handles great on dirt. I do not bash, only track days for me and the Vorza. I run 4s 5000mah batteries and some run 6s but that is WAY to fast for offroad racing.

              Basically, what I am running...
Vorza with STOCK 2200kv motor and Blur (made by Castle Creations) ESC
              17t pinion
stock servo with stock servo horn
              diff set up of 5k-5k-5k
              -2 camber on all wheels
+1 toe out on the front wheels
45 wt shock oil front with stock springs
50 wt shock oil rear with stock springs
              AKA I-beam tires
              stock body and wing
              Airtronics 2.4ghz radio
              Turnigy 2s x 2 (so 4s) 5000 mah 30-40c lipo batteries with deans plugs

Ready to drop on the track, the Vorza is heavy, right at 9 lbs! I do plan to upgrade to another 1/8th buggy in the near future! I plan to go with the Tekin 1900kv and RX8 ESC.

Put the 2650 in the vorza then smoked the speed controller

Anyone want some rc cars? I think I have about 32.

That is the story of RC's. You tear them up or break something. You put them up for a few weeks, fix them, and do it again. There is also a rumor about a new outdoor off road track being planned for the mid cities area!

My bro gave me a Yokomo Gt rw nitro car. I bought a new body for it. I need to paint and I was thinking of converting it to off road. How difficult would that be? Tires and struts?

I may try and go that route. I was looking at picking up one of the guns from harbor freight tools for $9.99 with a coupon. I will keep it simple for now and go with black.

If you don't want to buy paint and all that there is a guy up there in the DFW area (Euless I think) that does RC painting. It is Looped Designs. Google.... ldpaint.webs .... Depending on what you want and how many colors, you could probably have him paint one less than the cost of buying all the paint, materials and your time.
