it's been to hot to work in the garage, so I started on a project I've been wanting to do for a while. You may remember I built a scale plastic model Killdozer about two years ago. It was really fun, but so many people kept asking if it was radio controlled I decided I might as well build one. I ordered an rc bulldozer online, and started reverse engineering my old model. I tell you it was way easier to build this one since I had my first one for reference. Even though they are different scale it went really fast. The armor is made of cardboard and painters tape right now because these are the templates only. I'm going to cut the tape back off and trace them onto sheet styrene for the final body. Then comes paint and the detail work as well as the weathering. once the model is done, I have plans to do some video clips where it takes out some scale model buildings and cars. I love working with miniatures, and haven't done it in a long time. I'm going to research a few of the buildings he took out and try to replicate them. I'm pretty sure I'm on a few watch lists now. lol

Work continues. Cardboard is gone, replaced by styrene and a cast iron base coat. The body is a little brittle at the glue joints, but some jb weld over the inside will fix that. next come the rust and dust treatment, then she's ready to trash a tiny town. lol
