Just watch any number of YouTube videos on how a lot of police interact with people and you will quickly realize this is all too common. The Constitution is being trampled for convenience, political gain, financial gain, and most don’t even care.

They don't know. Most of them live in blissful ignorance, and think that the state of freedom that they've always lived in (to the degree that it still exists) is just the norm for humanity. Of course they're free, what else could there be?
