There wasn't one single thing I didn't love about the 2007 S331 F150 other than the fact that I never had one. Gorgeous truck, IMHO.



This new one? Not so much. It looks like an old man's version of the 2007. I don't see ole Steve pulling Saleen out of bankruptcy with designs like this.

I wish Ford would give us another legit Lightning. Take the new Raptor 3.5 HO, turn up the wick and stick it in a regular cab with body work to separate it from the rest of the F150 lineup and I think it would sell like hotcakes. God forbid they actually give it tuned suspension, better brakes and some interior tweaks. I'd buy one tomorrow, though I'd prefer a supercab or crew cab version.

I dunno, that rolling side shot makes it look bad ass! I'm not a huge fan of the front end but that's mostly due to the headlight design.

Roush has some of the most horrific front bumpers especially on the S197s.

Yeah.. I'm just not big on exaggerated body kits or ground effects. I don't mind mix and matching factory components (that may be model-specific) but that's about my limit. For example, on my 2004 GT I had the Mach1 Grill Delete and Chin Spoiler. I also liked the look of the 03/04 Cobra bumpers and the boy had one on his 2000 GT, just not the badge.

I don't think its bad, not to crazy about the front BC, but if it has a roots and some nice suspension, I'd consider it.

The rolling side shot is the 2007 S331, not the 2018 abomination they're rolling out now...

The 2018 honestly looks like Saleen called Cervini and ordered a street fighter body kit.
