I would think 20k for that roof would be hack job pricing anyways. Just had my roof done a few years ago and it was like 12k and nothing as bad as that one or big. Prob a million dollar house and the guy fucking wanted a bargain roof. Anyone notice the guy kind of saying he got took by pulling his tile roof. I had a tile roof and just repaired it as needed. Fire proof, great venting, and they really don't look bad. Probably hella more expensive new though.

There is also a good chance this is 100% the homeowner's fault. Lots of em will keep the insurance check and then find a cheaper roofing co (or do it themselves) in order to put a few grand in their bank account.
