God dammit. I hate that some guy (rich or not) had to spend millions fighting to keep HIS shit. These shit heads probably could have built around his property for less than the legal battle they just forced us to pay for. One point she made, I can twist to agree with...a poor man should be able to defend his shit to the same extent...in other words, fighting legal battles is too damn high.

We need a constitutional amendment to make them fuck off. Like George Mason wanted:
"That all men are by nature equally free and independent and have certain inherent rights, of which, when they enter into a state of society, they cannot, by any compact, deprive or divest their posterity; namely, the enjoyment of life and liberty, with the means of acquiring and possessing property, and pursuing and obtaining happiness and safety."
Needs to be a bit more clear than that. Something like no government agency of any kind, can EVER take land for ANY reason.
Then maybe we could put something in there like: If they absolutely must have the land, they must pay the landowner 100x the value of the land, as appraised by an independent appraiser who can have no government affiliation whatsoever. Or they can go off whatever it was worth before they started wanting it. We really need some fucking land rights revisions. All in our favor.WH

The intruder should get to make handsome offers, and if blocked, relocate. This new bullet train is a threat to landowners. You'd think they could run a train along the interstate or existing railway lines. Theres just a lot of shady shit that goes along with eminent domain like preemptively buying/developing land with insider knowledge, in order to cash in when eminent domain deal happens.
