Post flood Pecos trip - Film

Hey all, for those of you that remember I was flooded off the Pecos River in 2014, I lost all of my equipment including a pelican case full of cameras (which were later returned to me by a generous bass fisherman who found the case floating on lake Amistad two months later, sixty miles from where we were flooded). We returned to the Pecos last June with Robert afield who is a kayak angler film maker. We spent eight days on the river and completed what we started in 2014. This is awesome, nice editing, and the drone shots are great. This is the type of stuff that gets awarded at the Banff Mountain Film Festival.

Can I come with you next time?

I actually talked to the marketing director for Pelican while I was shooting SHOT this year and I guess the guy who started Pelican is retiring so they are doing a nostalgia set of commercials, and said he wants to come film a commercial about our flood trip and the Pelican case! We'll see if that happens. Pelican def gets my stamp of approval, still shooting with those cameras to this day. A lot of the crisp footage in this film were filmed with that camera.

@naynay, thanks man! We generally eat dehydrated food on these trips, but we did eat bass one night, we talk about it in episode two or three I believe. Freaking delicious!!

The drone was a logistical pain to bring along but we got great footage! Come on man, get you a kayak and let's roll lol. Episode two and three are my favorite
