Ford made a version of this tech for the 2nd gen lightning and then never used it.

That's the sad part, all the OE's make cool shit and never use it.

Hope you are kidding. Tesla would be so far behind at the end of the 1/4 you couldn't even see it in the Demon's rear view. Enjoy getting destroyed in your one and done electric scooter. When will true car guys realize the Tesla is a one performance trick pony.

I has plans to do that to my vortech setup in 1995, but just never started the project.

LOL. I was joking, of course. Although, the Tesla does impressively well against many of the fast cars, including the Hellcat.

if you think one of those cars is going to sell without markup, you're crazy.

easy 120k price tag at the dealer

Dodge is trying (loosely defined) to curb this issue. They plan to have a dash plaque with the name of the person who ordered the car. That is in hopes that whoever placed the order is the one that actually gets the car. If a car is not ordered by a person, (only for dealer stock) the dash plaque will be left blank. Dodge states they are not going to offer to redo the dash plaques. So how ever it comes from the factory, that is how it will be left. If it works like the first round of Hellcats. Sold orders will get filled before dealer stock orders. So if a dealer is trying to get a blank dash plaque car, they may not get a car at all.

I doubt I will ever see one in my garage but I have told the dealer where I bought my Ram and Hellcat that I do want to order one. Again, we know the history on how these deals go. I highly doubt that it will work out for me.

I didn't say that. I asked where you read the information it appeared as though you were providing. I see now it was just speculation.

I'm almost certain they will go for above MSRP.
