I watch faster and less invasive pat searches performed daily by young troops who think everyone is out to kill them. Hell even in Afg/Irq they didn't take 2 full minutes to search someone coming on base. That search was above normal and boarding on groping.

Would anyone here be okay if that was their kid?

Somewhat on the topic of how bullshit TSA is- In 2007 I was on a detail to test the TSA at an airport. I easily got through security with my prohibited item (which was real, and incredibly obviously prohibited). I was floored at how easy it was.

I find it hilarious that we thought security is so important that we created the TSA to handle it then we staffed it with people who make ten bucks an hour and aren't qualified for much more than Taco Bell or janitorial work.

These people couldn't stop shit, it's a god damn farce that people buy into.

My ex made it through screening twice with a Ruger LCP that she forgot was in her bag so nothing surprises me.

What the TSA does is not done for security. It is done to condition us to government agents finger banging people without any protest from the people getting finger banged.
