My craptacular popcorn texture + drywall ceiling partially caved in, thankfully when the convertible wasn't parked there.
My neighbor/go-to-house-fix guy had the genius idea of affordably and permanently fixing the problem by affixing galvanized corrugated metal. So I took Friday off and worked with him to install this. (By the way, this was a couple weeks ago when we got rare snow, and the first time in 20+ years this car has been snowed on.)
After two days of cutting, hefting and screwing, here's the final product. In true classic car owner fashion, "while I was in there" I took this time to clean, organize and otherwise pretty things up. It's amazing and has turned out to be better than I could have hoped for. This is now my favorite room in the house.
