My baby girl got her first deer.

Went on a FAA/TYHP sponsored trip this weekend and my 15 year old got her first dear. She bagged a 3 point 135lb buck. 90 yard shot with no hesitation and almost perfect placement. She had no problems helping with the field dress. She helped cut some and and was pulling guts. I was so proud. It was truly one of the best moments iv had as a father.

Thats funny u say that, cuz she said the same thing at the processor. The processor here in joshua has been sponsoring the ffa hunts for years. He will do standard processing for free on their first kill, but jerkey and sausage is extra. So of coarse i paid for the jerky. Lol.

We went with just the regular jerky. She really doesn't like spicy stuff. Its her deer so i let her pick. If mine its as spicy as they can make it.

Super cool that y'all got to share that. My first season hunting was last year and I got my deer while hunting solo so I kinda just did a happy dance by myself out in the woods. Hopefully this is one of many for her and y'all.
