Got inspiration from what I've seen others do and my son likes the movie Cars, so I gave it a shot.
I removed all the stickers using a blow dryer and stuck them to cardboard so that the sticker shop would have a template to work with while I painted the car.
Had a paint booth going for a couple coats, then the duct tape peeled off and I just tried being more careful where I sprayed.
Once it was all painted I dropped it off at a sign making company and this is how I picked it up. There are a couple small areas missing paint that I had a weekend to fix.
Here it is all finished up the night before.
Unfortunately he is too short at the moment to reach the go pedal, so he just sits in it and pretends.
