Truck didnt mind. Problem was being cut off several times and really hammering the brakes. Think front rotors are hurt. But that 6.2 does well pulling. Did 90 most of the way.
Good judgment comes from bad decisions and a lot of that comes from bad judgment.

Ya 6.2 will do pretty good, you got trailer breaks on that thing? What's done to the cobra.

Yes sir, it has electric brakes and they work well but for some reason people in Austin love to cut in front of you on the interstate with under a half car length of room and then slow down 20 MPH for no damn reason. Was stuck in traffic so much too that by the end I was just ready to ge home and truck still didnt strain doing over 100.
The Cobra is fairly stock. Billet idlers, 2.8" (I think), diff cover brace, K-member brace, H-pipe, exhaust, CAI and a custom tune as well as 315s out back. Tomorrow I am installing the fan cooled Afco heat exchanger, ice box and MGW shifter. Did a Spec Stage 3+ clutch and lighter flywheel today as well as some ET streets.
Shop that rebuilt the trans did a crap job on the clutch so it blew up on my first drive. Wasnt even tightened down, throw ou bearing split, pivot ball smashed and the clutch fork cracked. I wondered why the car was so cheap cause its super clean in and out. The clutch answered my question. lol

Ya drivers like that really piss me off, even more so pulling a loaded traler. I feel your pain on the cobra,i hate having to go back thru other people's work right after buying a car when all you want to do it drive it. My 2nd viper GTS i bought on my first drive out part of the exaust ended up laying in the freeway cause the previous shop did a crappy install,my 2nd drive out it burned up both fan relays on the way to waco cause of a shitty aftermarket fan controller they instead got stuck on high. Got tired of dealing with the issues so i parked the car a year ago and haven't touched it again...lol.

You know... I usually like checking out your threads, especially in regards to how you went from what I read at one point as being in a pretty humble situation to building what is ostensibly a very successful business.
However, I really hope you're exaggerating with the claims I highlighted above. Otherwise, you're a moron of epic proportions. That truck is squatting big time and apparently you're not aware of how that can affect steering and control going down the highway at speed. Also, you could have loaded that car a little further forward on the trailer. I'm surprised you didn't have trailer sway. You just sound like foolish blowhard at this point.
If you damaged your front rotors on a truck and trailer with trailer brake controller/e-brakes, then that means you were driving like an aggressive asshole.
Nice car. You need some airbags for that truck. Have them on my ram, made a huge difference in towing performance.
Yeah I agree. I had put drop shackles on it when I bought it not really expecting to haul a car with it. Now I am thinking of puttin it back at the stock height or putting assist bags on it.

I was not driving aggressive but if you wish to have that opinon there is nothing I can do about that. People cut me off several times and then brake checked me. Twice it was a Prius. I just drove the truck for the first time since picking the car up this morning and the brakes feel fine so maybe what I was feeling was my trailer brakes because the truck isn't pulsing now.
I would also point out that the picture was taken 5 minutes after loading the car. I was in that lot just to move the car back about 10" which leveled the truck a tad more but it still could use bags. More so when I load the Benz on it for the Half Mile next month.
Thanks for your input though. It will be taken under advisement and management will get back with you.

Tongue was already too heavy in that pic, moving it forward would only make it worse. Moving it back (which is what it sounds like he did) was the right move. Flipping it backwards probably would have been better.
