  • Decided to go topless....

Had a few minutes in the office....thought I'd post a picture of a mustang. I looked for a mustang site to post these on but couldn't find one

Found a clean 38K mile GT vert. needs a little bit of TLC in those spots that bother an OCD mustang snob. But it'll clean up.

I'll get the obligatory non-potato pics after it gets back from the paint correction guy. I know I'm old now because I got excited about a clean convertible. Thing still has the factory plugs, wires, and the air silencer is still there. Pretty neat little car.

I cannot imagine trying to make one of these fox body convertibles stiff enough to actually handle any power. It'd have to be a complete 25.5 cage to take that motor! LOL

As it is you can feel the entire body twist on the easiest of bumps and turns. Amazing how much better convertibles are built today. Nevertheless, I still like it.

I have zero doubt about that at all. The car may have to get subframe connectors just to preserve the poor thing. We entered Sonic through an off camber entry the other night in the car and my son tripped out of the fact that the door didn't move in unison with the body.

Yeah, subrame connectors at minimum. It's amazing how much the suspension works after you put them on, rather than the body flexing.

Looks like a good cruiser. I never liked the convertibles when I was younger, but now they're starting to grow on me.

I still recall the rattles from my 90 LX convert.... Even recall driving it with the top down and light snow sprinkles with the heater on FULL BLAST, just so I didn't have to hear the top rattle. Ah, those were the days.....simple life. Car payment was made, full tank of full and all the cruisin time you could want. From the time you got off work until it was almost time to get a couple of hours of sleep before the next shift.......

Man, that thing is a time capsule.

                              Please don't mod it.
