Wow two really nice cars ! Congrats and good luck with them. I was in the same boat as you looking for an Atomic orange 08 A6 C6. I found a one owner (lady) car from Florida that is like new. Not a daily but i love it.
Congrats! That 6.4 definitely sounds awesome and the ZF 8-speed is nice, probably nicer than the 8-speed in the 2SS Camaro. That said, I just love driving our '16 Camaro 2SS. With the mag ride, dual mode exhaust, transmission in sport or track mode, and that LT1 engine, we are just loving it. Have little doubt it can outrun a Challenger Scat Pack at TWS too given similar drivers.
That said, I don't doubt the Scat Pack is a bada** daily driver. I've driven my buddy's Hellcat Charger (freaking MONSTER) and I've even driven '16 V6 Charger rental cars. They really are nice driving cars. Congrats again!
Dont care that they are fat and overweight. I love the way they look drive and feel. Love my buddies V6 even. Just so nice inside. Great color choice too!. Kudos good sir.
Good judgment comes from bad decisions and a lot of that comes from bad judgment.
Man thats pretty rad.
Can you please expand on the c6 issue? I can seriously see me getting a c6 or a c5z (less likely) very soon. I'm seeing some c6's in the high teens which is very appealing to me.
What's worn out of the ones youre seeing?
those C6's in the high teens are likely early LS2 cars and one of my requirements was it had to be an LS3 car. Cheapest I found was in the $23-24k range and they had 60k-80k miles. Interior was cramped and seats were worn to shit. Nearly EVERY car I found had electrical issues and cracked fenders or quarters just above the center of the tire. I'm 42, have a back that goes out once in a while and I'm not a small guy at 6'-0" and 260# and I felt cramped in every vette and especially in the 16' camaro. For track duty, I could not wear a helmet in the camaro unless it was a no sunroof car and even then, I would need a helmet without the air inlet on top I use from the racecar. The non magnetic suspension on the camaro was terrible and over damped on rebound which made it skitter on rough pavement in the turns.
In the end. I'm old and soured on "track cars" and testing vettes proved that point. I REALLY wanted an 08 Z06 I found which had 36k miles and was clean and Already track prepped, I just had a real hard time financing an 8 year old car with no trade and seeing nearly $700/mo pop up with ZERO warranty... and chiropractor bills to boot. Where I ended up is what I think is going to be a GREAT daily driver I can hoon around in and not even bother modding at a similar price point with a warranty and it does everything I want. When I want to go to the track, I have a weapon...actually 3 for that, and we are looking to pare that down to 2 soon with the mustang for sale. Funds from that will help me finish this e36 with an LS swap and I'll still have a great daily driver with no compromises going to work every day with Sirius radio and A/C blasting cold! I'm already finding excuses to leave the house and go for a drive which is something I did not do for a long time with all these old trucks and I know would have gotten old with a Vette that rode like a brick and attracted every cop in a 6 county radius.

Is the ls3 that much superior to an LS2? I'm not well versed in them, but isn't an LS an LS?
Worn seats don't kill it for me, cracked quarters? What kind of electrical issues? Damn man. I'm really just wanting a black m6 c6 that I can put a huge cam in and be done.

LS3 heads flow a bit better and react well to cams nicely. More cubes are nice too. basically better platform to build off of.
Electrical issues were mostly ecu and ignition related. could track a lot of them on the carfaxes back to original owner in and out of dealers. MANY pinged like a mofo under accel which could be cheap gas....but maybe the owners ran them that way from day one which equals bad news. could just be nature of used cars and the reason people get rid of them...? I walked away. only found a couple cars that had been taken care of properly and they were asking closer to 30k for base vettes and near 40k for Z06's. For a few dollars more....NEW CAR SMELL and warranty! Done. Still have the race car. Still have the truck/motorhome to tow with. Still have garage queens to collect dust. Still have my Grampa fresh suburban for the offroad camping trips and old man fun.
From a roll maybe. You might murder me from a dig! These 440 treadwear 245/20's have the traction of Prius tires on sand!!! LOL! Time for something a LOT stickier at the first swap!
I picked up a 16 B5 blue scat back in November. I love the car. It's a heavy bitch, but a lot more fun than my 13 5.0. I did the mid muffler delete a couple of weeks ago and I should've done it sooner lol. Nice car!

The RS comes with Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2s. Grippy as balls but jesus! I'll be lucky to approach 10k miles!

Seen the videos on that and not bad. I'm going to resist the urge to mod this thing until the warranty is gone then probably an exhaust to my liking and a cam to scare the children and piss off the neighbors. Maybe some wider rubber but not sure what will fit.

That kind of thinking will last like 2 weeks tops.
I want a new 15+ challenger because it has one thing every other coupe doesnt, an actual back seat. It also drives like a good car, and not like a track car
In conclusion I find the challenger the acceptable buisness man's sedan coupe
