Internal combustion engines are just a fad, we all know that steam cars are the way of the future.

        My 68

And my 63 Fairlane with a 221 V8. I'm the 3rd owner, got it from my Grandpa, it has 37k original miles, but it's been sitting since 1982. Plans are for just a nice mild cruiser.

Sitting in the field it came out of.

I need to scan this in with my scanner, but it's not hooked up at the moment. This was my 68 fastback I had back in 1998. It was midnight blue, 302, 4spd, 9in rear. Not all original, but I restored pretty much all of it including the interior. I replaced everything but the toploader 4 speed. It was a sweet car, and I wish I still had it, but I ended up selling it when my first 5.0 notch back came along, it had power everything, a 5spd, much better handling, air conditioning, etc....

I miss that car now, especially since I could be sitting on a gold mine with it for what they are going for these days. I'll get this scanned in better and replace it sometime soon.

You remember the stories John use to tell us about the the three chinamen playing Fantan? This guy runs up to them and says, "Hey, the world's coming to an end!" and the first one says, "Well, I best go to the mission and pray," and the second one says, "Well, hell, I'm gonna go and buy me a case of Mezcal and six whores," and the third one says "Well, I'm gonna finish the game." I shall finish the game, Doc.
